Listible Suggestions

Resources
Light up them arrows a-la reddit after voting so I know that I've voted.
A "remember me" option when signing in. Tired of being logged out after a certain time limit.
Rank lists by number of votes not percentages. Because an item with one vote is 100% and is at the top.
Need to be able to correct or update resource descriptions.
I know you would rather avoid that, but maybe it could be a compromise instead of "Change ranking system".
There are a lot of empty lists appearing. It should be a requirement that to make a list you must add items to it. That's what makes it a list right? Otherwise it's just a title.
We're already seeing some duplication of lists (100 Best Freeware, 25 best Windows Freeware). Give us the option of suggesting that two list be combined. Or later, when lists get really large, suggest to split list into sublists or something.
Need a favorite lists feature so we can easily keep better track of the lists we like/create and filter out the list we don't care about
When an item gets reported, the report should go to the creator of the list. So the creator can tell if the item was appropriate.
The usage of RSS feeds on Listilble is great... In my mind, it's one of the best features.
One thing I'd like to be able to do is subscribe to a feed for a specific tag (like del.icio.us)
If you are using all this AJAX stuff, why can't you validate on the client side when I create an account?
Why is my password limited to 12 characters? It makes me think that you store the passwords in cleantext somewhere in the database! Please do a web search on "secure password storage" and correct this!
Respond to the e-mails sent to the public contact e-mail address!
As lists grow and shrink, I'd like the ability to add them to my Google toolbar as an RSS feed. Then when I'm looking for the 10 Best Web Design Sites, I just drop it down and see the highest ranked 10 items in list.
Resources should be a little more detached from thier list. It should be easy to drag a resources between list, see which list a resource belongs too, have list as resources etc...
That is what makes this site great. Too much commentary is just that: too much shit. I love the interface and think this is the greatest site on the Web, better than digg, partly because of no commenting. Rank/rating is comment enough already. If someone wants to start a discussion, they can start a list like this: strict hierarchy/democracy/votes. As a final note, this posting is case in point: I am violating my own suggestion self-consciously, for a reason: to demonstrate its selfsame validity.
Right now it seems like the search always will search tags, title, and comment of a list, and maybe even resource text. Need an option to ONLY search tags.
Ability to report users. Spammers usually post more than once, so reporting a user could make things more efficient for both the reporter and the moderator.
A tiny user avatar (10/16px) like seen in Digg will be good to visualy recognize listible colaborators. As there are tiny it doesn't require bandwidth nor too much space.
Show some ups and downs over time just like stock charts.
Kind of diggish (sp?) but it would be great to have RSS feeds on my lists, resources, tags, and votes. Then people can subscribe to my lists and be cool like me. :)
I'd like to be able to view a page that summarizes my votes: all positive votes in the left panel and all negative votes in the right. (Also, would be interesting to see the ratio of people that voted with me vs. against me, so see how often I go with or against the majority.)
List the people who voted. (on either a list or a resource.) This would allow me to view the other person's profile and then maybe find some other list that I am interested in.
It would be better if you could put a possibility of adding links in the comments and I’d like to see a “Most Wanted” sites page in here. And why isn’t there a possibility of adding one’s link directly in his name user in new lists?

The ability to put tags on list items.
This will enable big list filtering just by letting the user select the tags to show/hide.
For example: in a big list like 'Best open source software' it could hold mixed OS programs with tags like 'win', 'linux', etc.. and also type of program like 'audio', 'cdrecording', 'productivity', etc..
This way we will be able to have very long lists very organized instead of spreading all their items across hundreds of them.
Add a preview butto (because you allow basic formatting). Maybe even make a client side parser and generate the preview locally (JavaScript is very powerfull mind you and most probably is capable of replicating whatever server side parsing code there is including but not limited to regular expressions)
Some password hashing resources (disclaimer: I suppose that listible is powered by PHP, although I have no proof of that :) ):

Show the number of times there has been clicked on a resource.
There should be a shiny list of valuable downloads that are available for free. Plus more editing options should be added.
Listible is entirely based on an open-source application that is not even quoted anywhere in the website.
It would be fair to mention it, and to add the symfony copyright in the terms of service.
Heck, if you create the list, shouldn't you be able to kill it?
- Ability to create online Polls/Surveys so that users can vote.
5.Ability to revisit the question and edit it.
6.Ability to touch the question so that if its unanswered for quiet a few days? I can touch it so that it appears again in the latest list of questions so that I can stand a chance that someone can answer it in subsequent posting.. basically its like reposting.
7.Ability to see my questions as soon as I login.
Thanks.. Ravi
Need to see the following...
Ability to post through email and then I should get a reply back (email reply) with my feed URL so that I can just watch the feed for comments. It should only let registers users to post.
Ability to have latest questions under popular tags.. like?
Web2.0 Question 1 Question 2
Virus Question 1 Questio 2
- Ability to categorize the tags so that it will be easy to track.

Comments on each resource seems necessary. But how? a) Separate page per list item? b) Anchor link to per-item comments section below the list? c) Web 2.0 magically appearing comments section?
...Ideally the best points from the comments would be automatically folded into the list item description, but a curator/moderator may have to intervene. Unless we want to vote on the comments too.
comments should be done a la Yadalike, not here. The simlicity/GUI is what makes this site great.
Otherwise, Web 2.0 magically appearing comments would be the only way. (but isn't this Yadalike or similar for the users who want them)
creator of list should NOT be moderator. Opens the site to spammers - you could make your own list and keep your competition out of it. great.
Wow, I'm dumb. We can already get RSS for each list. Nevermind, that's cool.
OK, still dumb, but not necessarily cool. The RSS for a list links back to the list, not to the individual item. And when added to Google button, it's not sorted at all.
