Teens Rehabilitation

One of the most unique aspects of our program at the ranch is the use of horses to assist students in the attainment of treatment goals. This program is directed by trained professionals who focus on safety and therapeutic interventions. The techniques developed by the ranch staff are designed to raise issues underlying the student’s behavior that might not surface during traditional therapy.
Resources
Students and their families can participate in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and experience team building, communication, and problem solving skills that will enhance their self-esteem. This program has received national recognition and is a significant part of each student’s experience at the ranch. In addition to therapeutic activities, students may participate in a variety of activities through the EAP program including western riding, cattle driving, and rodeo events.
