At a Photo Club meeting I attended recently, the President made a comment on another meeting he had attended, where someone in the audience asked the presenter where to find good subjects to photograph. Welcome to the Town of Feeling

Happy, Sad, Mad and Glad, Moved in down the street

Cautious watched them, from her window, Wondering, which one should I meet?

Confused came in with overwhelmed and said, "The Panics have come to town"

Then Hopeful called the carefulls, And said that Happy was a clown.

Anxious came in with the news, Confident had called a town meeting

To take a vote for Mayor, And to Welcome the new neighbors to Feeling.

Bush Victory: A Defeat for the Have-Nots?

Continued and probably expanded tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and large Corporations. It is no surprise that the stock market soared on the election news: big business stands to gain greatly by the results. Predictions? A strong effort to curtail product lawsuits, no matter how valid, to protect bottom line profits and continued tax incentives to offshore jobs to third world countries where labor costs are low, worker protections minimal, and profitability unlimited.

Why Do Some Affirmations *Work* - and Others Dont?

By definition,an affirmation is a statement repeated time and again either verbally or mentally-or written down. The words of the affirmation statement - in themselves -when spoken, thought of, or written without a pictorial (visualized) or emotional connection- make a very weak affirmation.

Are Small PPC Search Engines Really Worth The Effort?

When it comes to PPC (pay-per-click) search engines, you know they are not all created equal. Google and Overture dominate the market. The total traffic you get from them will dwarf the total from all other PPC search engines combined.

But does that mean that there's no money in the little guys? Au Contraire. (That's the fancy French way of saying, "No." -- and I probably missspelllled it. It's been long time since my high school French class

Smoking During Pregnancy?

If you have been drinking up until the point when you become pregnant or smoking it is also vital that you stop doing so immediately. Many women worry that they consumed a few alcoholic drinks prior to learning they were pregnant. If you are concerned you should talk with your healthcare provider. Chances are that everything will be just fine as long as you stop immediately. At this time there are no recommended safe limits of alcohol to consume during pregnancy, thus it is best that you avoid alcohol all together.

Too Many Choices - Dont Confuse Your Customers

Conventional wisdom is that the more choices customers have, the more likely they will buy. That may be true when customers have very specific wants or needs, and they know what those wants or needs are. However, often having lots of choices just confuses customers and they don't buy anything.

The Most Expensive Movie

These lists contains only the movies that are already released to the general public, and no movies that are still in production, post-production or just announced movies, for the reason that these costs can still change in the production process. Most studios, however, will not give a statement on production costs, so only estimates by professional researchers and movie industry writers are available. These include those from the Internet Movie Database, Box Office Mojo and The Numbers

Most Expensive Motorcycles

The inspiration for the earliest dirt bike, and arguably the first motorcycle, was designed and built by the German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in Bad Cannstatt (since 1905 a city district of Stuttgart) in 1885.

However, if one counts two wheels with steam propulsion as being a motorcycle, then the first one may have been American. One such machine was demonstrated at fairs and circuses in the eastern US in 1867, built by Sylvester Howard Roper of Roxbury, Massachusetts.
