I'm over 50 years old and like Google, Yahoo and Msn, DMOZ was around in the old Web 1.0 days, but no one called it Web 1.0. We called it the internet. If I remember right, DMOZ has real people analyze your search submission, and place it in a directory. Man, that's alot of work!
