Two notification machanisms. News balloons and news ticker. Many settings. Displays the articles headlines (not possibility for displaying headlines on mouse move). Many customizations. But not buttons in notifier.

- possibility to mark as read cliking on the headline
- very bad design and very annoing way of displaying feeds

After the dissapointment with Backpack, which is paid service, I tried zohoplanner. In Zohoplanner you can create an unlimited number of pages and moreover it has reminder service (via e-mail).

Most of the current RSS readers have some notification mechanism to let us know about new articles in our feeds.
Some of them are just nofiers and some of them are associated with RSS readers.
